Fellow Communards and Communal Fellows presents a variety of printed objects produced by artists, activist members, and friends of the Llano Del Rio Collective reflecting the social and political landscape of Los Angeles. Items include maps, photographs, spoke cards, postcards, zines, and other printed ephemera. Spanning nineteen years of Los Angeles based artists and activists tactically engaging with issues of spatial justice, the included works are deeply relevant to local and international political movements. Projects address issues such as immigration, refugees, the commons, gentrification, militarization, and autonomous power.

Some works include a signed and numbered color photo prints by Lisa Anne Auerbach; postcards by photographer Sandra de la Loza; spoke cards and bicycle route guides by Kelly Marie Martin and Joe Linton; a reproduction of Kaucyila Brooke’s Boy Mechanic drawn map; an activist map produced by members of the LA Tenants Union with the Democratic Socialists of America; and other posters, zines, and ephemera accompanied by a printed table of contents and an essay, “The Spoke & The Hub,” authored by the Llano Del Rio Collective.
